I Dark Tranquillity presentano "Atoma"

Al fianco di At The Gates e In Flames sono una delle band melodic death storiche della scena di Gothenburg, i Dark Tranquillity hanno annunciato lo scorso 6 luglio il ritorno discografico con la presentazione dell'artwork di copertina. Il nuovo album è titolato "Atoma", registrato ai Rogue Music de Gothenburg (studio di proprieta di Martin Brändström), ed uscirà il prossimo 4 novembre per Century Media Records dando così un seguito a "Construct" del 2013.

Nel mese di novembre inizierà anche il tour di supporto al nuovo album, che partirà dagli Stati Uniti e che vedrà la band accompagnata da Swallow The Sun, Enforcer e Starkill; l' "Atoma Tour" arriverà anche in Europa ad inizio 2017.

Riguardo alla stesura del nuovo materiale Mikael Stanne ha affermato:
"Anders [Jivarp, drums] has written most of the songs, I think, or most of the material, and then Martin [Brändström, keyboards] and Anders kind of structured it and put it together. And then Niklas wrote two or three songs, and Martin [Brändström] wrote two or three songs, stuff like that. It's becoming really diverse. Like some of the stuff that Anders has done is really different, and the stuff that Niklas has done...
